Terms and Conditions for Recommendation for Scholarships:-

A –Admission Terms and Conditions:
1. Registration of scholarship students begins in September and ends at the end of December of each year. No applications are considered after this date.
2. The scholarship applicant must be a Muslim who speaks Arabic and is fluent in reading and writing. He must be an excellent student with the average not less than 80% in his exams. The certificates must be certified by official authorities.
3. The applicant must have studied English because it is the foreign language the students are taught in the religious Institute.
4. Scholarships are offered to the preparatory and secondary levels at the Religious Institute, according to the age determined by the Ministry of Education in Qatar (Attachment 1).
5. Scholarships are awarded only to males.
6. The scholarship applicant must submit a certificate of good conduct approved by official authorities in his country.
7. The student must provide a certificate from a government authority that he is free from communicable and infectious diseases, certified by the official authorities in his country.
8 - The student must submit a Scholarship Recommendation Letter from an official authority in his country showing full address.
9. The student must fill out the scholarship application form to study in the Religious Institutes in Qatar (in Arabic), and it must be stamped by the authority recommending the student (scholarship application form sample).
10- The student must submit the original certificate of the best academic certificate obtained by him with a list of all subjects that he has studied. He must also provide his primary or preparatory certificates, in addition to the certificate of success in each year the student has passed in other academic years. This certificate must be authenticated by the Ministry Of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by the Qatari embassy, or by any Gulf embassy, or an embassy of any Arab country where the certificate was issued in case there is no Qatari embassy.
11. The student must submit an original birth certificate or certified copy.
12- A certified copy of the passport, which must be valid for a period of no less than three years. The passport should be ordinary and issued by the country recommending the candidate. So it should not be a temporary passport or document. The applicant's details on the passport (such as his name, his date of birth, and place of birth) must be identical to the details in other documents that must be submitted with the application, such as the birth certificate and school certificates.
13. Applications for scholarship that do not meet the information and required certificates according to the requirements for admission will be refused, as well as any application where falsification or forgery of data is detected. The Ministry has the right to ban the recommendation authority and take official procedures.
14. The Ministry of Endowment is not responsible for the loss of official papers if the address mentioned in the scholarship application form is incorrect.

B - Academic Requirements:
1 - The academic year begins on 1 September of each year. The student should not be late from the beginning of the study at the beginning of the academic year. Any student who is late one week from attending the lessons without any acceptable excuse by the scholarship competent authority, will be dismissed from the study and his scholarship will be canceled.
2 - Absence of scholarship students from the Religious Institute without an excuse:
- Absence in one or two lessons: the student will be given a verbal or written notice.
- Absence in three lessons: it is considered as full day absence and a deduction will be taken out from the student's grant.
- Absence in one or two consecutive days: a warning will be issued in addition to the deduction of days of absence (from the student’s grant).
- Absence in two to three consecutive days: A final warning will be issued in addition to the deduction of days of absence.
- If the student is absent for more than one week, the authority that takes care of the affairs of the students’ scholarship will write a memorandum on the dismissal of the student to the competent authority.
3 - Students are not allowed to leave the residence after the end of the lessons, or to sleep outside the residence without prior permission or an acceptable excuse:
- If the absence is in some hours: the student will be warned.
- If the student is absent for 1 day: the student will be warned and one day will be deducted from the student's grant.
- If the student is absent for two or three days: a final warning will be issued in addition to a deduction of days of absence from his grant.
- If the student is absent for more than three days: the student will be automatically dismissed without the need for prior procedures and he will be returned to his country.
4- The student who failed for two years during his mission will be dismissed but an exceptional third year will be granted to him if he had failed in the foundation year at the Religious Institute. In case the student fails in the foundation year, the ministry has the right to cancel the grant and not allow the student to continue his studies if his level does not entitle him to continue the studies.
5. Any student who reaches the maximum age for dismissal will be dismissed (from all levels) from the Religious Institute, or who reaches the maximum number of years for staying in one academic year, either of which is earlier.
6. The student who misbehaves or who does not abide by the regulations at the residence campus of scholarship student or at the religious institute, his grant will be canceled and he will be returned to his country.
7 - The student must know his exam results before traveling. If he has to attend a second round of exams, he must come at least three days before the exam date. If any student is late and did not take part in the second round exam, he fails his academic year and it will be recorded for him that he failed one year.
8. Annual return tickets to their country will be given for scholarship students on economy class for the summer vacation, both for the transition year and foundation year students. As regards the successful secondary school third-year students, only a one-way ticket will be given to them.
9 - The student's residence will be canceled after the completion of the high school. However, the student who obtained grades that entitle him to register (enroll) in the university after graduating from the high school will be given a deadline until the results of admission to the local universities are published. His residence will be immediately canceled if he is not accepted in the university and he will be returned to his country.
10 - Every student who comes to Qatar before an entry visa and a travel ticket are sent to him, he returns to his country at his own expenses.

C - Scholarship Privileges:
- The scholarship student will be offered an economy class round travel ticket for his summer vacation in his country.
- The student will be offered a monthly pocket money for the whole academic year as follows:
- 350 riyals for the preparatory level
- 400 riyals for the secondary level
- The student will be granted an additional 100 riyals as a bonus if he gets 90% grades or more. This bonus will continue to the next exam. However, it will be removed if the student’s grades fall below 90%. This bonus is applicable throughout the academic year.
- The student resides in the residence campus and he will be offered three full meals daily.
- Transportation to and from school will be provided to the student.
- Text books and stationery will be offered free of charge to the student. Additionally, the student will be offered an allowance for books with a value of a full month salary once a year during the International Book Fair.
- The Ministry shall cover all health and medical treatment expenses for the student throughout the period of his scholarship.
- The Ministry shall cover all expenses of issuing official papers (residency, renewal of residence, health cards, etc.)
- Various activities (religious, academic, social, cultural, sports, etc.).

1 - Admission to the Preparatory School:
The student will be accepted in the seventh grade if he has obtained the primary certificate; i.e. if he has studied six years successfully. The age should be as follows:

2 - Admissions to the Secondary School:
The student will be accepted in the tenth grade [i.e. 1st year of Secondary School] if he successfully obtained the preparatory school certificate provided his age is as follows:
